"We Know What You're Thinking" Is a reflection on the evolving nature of privacy in the age of the internet as well as the changing face of corporations in the age of advanced technology. In the work Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and Nike are made reference to. They want to be your friend, they want to be trusted and through providing various seemingly innocuous services they are capable of creating very articulate and accurate portraits of the consumers we are. This may not seem so bad and in the best of light maybe even a convenience, but in conjunction with the ever progressive science of marketing companies are contriving to manipulate and control the development of taste, and the capital of the masses.

"We Know What You're Thinking" is not a condemnation of free market capitalism but more an incitement for individuals to reconsider and meditate on the information we so freely divulge online. The informal representation of the five individuals in the work is a jab at the changing face of the CEO in the age of the internet, whereas the previous symbol of corporate malfeasance and distrust was a lawyer in a suit nowadays it could just as well be a 24 yr. old in flip flops and jeans.

It's also playing with the idea of informality as a way of gaining peoples trust in the way film studios or music companies will market something as "Indie" to gain access to a certain market. The internet has had a fundamental impact on the way we communicate, "We Know What You're Thinking" is a call for us to reflect on how and why we communicate.
